Ms. Thái Vân Linh is Director, Head of Strategy & Operations of VinaCapital, the leading investment and asset management firm headquartered in Vietnam, with a diversified portfolio of USD1.8 billion in assets under management.
Linh is one of the main “sharks” in the Vietnamese version of Shark Tank, a critically acclaimed and multi-Emmy® Award-winning reality show that has reinvigorated entrepreneurship in Vietnam.
In addition, Linh is the founder and CEO of Rita Phil, a fashion-tech company that combines classic custom tailoring techniques with modern data-driven algorithms to create skirts that fit and enhance each woman’s unique body shape.
Prior to her current role at VinaCapital, Linh was a Director of Investments at DFJ VinaCapital, one of Vietnam’s first venture capital funds. Before coming to Vietnam, Linh was an Investment Banking Associate at Banc of America Securities in the NYC office, and a Marketing Manager at The .tv Corporation, an internet start-up based in Los Angeles.
Linh graduated with honors from the University of Southern California and holds an MBA from The Wharton School. Linh grew up in Los Angeles, CA and has called Ho Chi Minh City home for the past 10 years.
