Đàm Bích Thủy is the Founding President of Fulbright University Vietnam. After graduating from university, Thủy became an entrepreneur, co-founded Vietnam’s first private foreign investment consultancy firm. Her clients included ANZ, Phillip Morris, Coca Cola, IBM and Citibank. Thanks to a Fulbright Scholarship, Thủy studied management and finance in the United States. After completing her graduate studies, Thủy joined the Australia New Zealand Bank, helping set up ANZ’s investment banking business in Asia. Ten years later, she was tapped to lead ANZ’s Vietnam operations, making her the first Vietnamese national to lead an international bank in Vietnam. Thủy believes passionately in the transformative power of education. Utilizing the leadership and management she gained in the private sector, she is determined to make Fulbright University Vietnam a world class academic institution and a bridge between Vietnam and the United States and the international community. Thuy holds degrees from the University of Hanoi and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
