Amanda Rasmussen is the current Chairwoman of the American Chamber of Commerce, Ho Chi Minh City and the Chief Operating Officer of ITL Corp, a leading logistics and supply chain company in Vietnam and one of VNR’s TOP 50 “’The Best” companies and TOP 500 Biggest companies in Vietnam.
Amanda has more than 20 years of experience in logistics, transportation and supply chain management, having held previous roles in DHL, Maersk, Damco and running her own logistics and supply chain training and consulting company until a successful sale in 2010. Before joining ITL as the COO in 2017, Amanda held regional roles based in Vietnam for DHL covering 15 countries including South Asia Pacific, Sub-con and Australia plus China. In her work, she has developed both strong commercial and operational achievements and capability in her field as well as successful leadership in a multi-cultural workplace and has a passion for team and individual leading and development.
Originally from the United States, Amanda has lived and worked in Vietnam since January 2003. In addition to the AmCham Board of Governors, Amanda is the previous Chair of the Logistics and Supply Chain Sector Committee and a sitting Board of Governor since 2016. Amanda also founded AmCham’s Women in Leadership committee in 2019 and plays a key role in leadership and event management for the organization.
Amanda has an MBA in International Business Systems from Loyola Marymount University and a BA from the University of Tennessee.
