Mr Brendon Urlich has been appointed as Country Managing Director of L’Oreal Vietnam since August 2014. He previously held the position of Executive General Manager of L’Oreal New Zealand. Brendon started his career at an entry level sales role across many continents and countries. He has more than 20 years’ experience in marketing on consumer goods both in New Zealand and internationally. Working in diverse environments from developing regions such as South East Asia, Middle East, Eastern Europe and Latin America to sophisticated markets such as New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
Joining L’Oreal in 2012, Brendon has spearheaded the strategy to develop Consumer Product Division to the leading position in the Health and Beauty category in New Zealand. Under his management, L’Oreal Vietnam has outperformed the market and gained the double-digit growth continuously since 2014. He has wworked closely with local teams and contributed to transforming all Divisions into professional beauty divisions which led to remarkable divisional results.
Brendon has a passion for many sports and enjoys passing on his knowledge to the next generation. Brendon has played rugby around the world in many locations and tournaments. He also is a qualified referee and has been able to adjudicate senior games and tournaments in Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
He has also run several marathons.
Community is another passion which saw Brendon work on the board of the Look Good Feel Better charity and supported Foster Children in New Zealand. Brendon continues to grow Beauty For A Better Life Project in Vietnam and significantly contributed to make this project an international case study in 2015.
