Since entering the Posts & Telecoms Institute of Technology in 2008, Truong Manh Quan began his start-up with Brodev, a company works on application expanding for niches social networks. When he was a child, he tended to favor programming and learned programming himself since his senior high school. 2013, Quan built sieuweb.vn, an easy-to-use tool to help building website quickly. In March, 2015, Sieuweb had 90 thousand users and acquired by Bizweb (DKT Company).
While running his business, Quan found himself lacking of knowledge of sales and marketing, so he spent a considerable time to study marketing to attract more users and sell products. At the beginning of 2014, he stopped Brodev’s development to start developing Beeketing – a platform that help sales-beginners, even without knowledge, can still run marketing campaigns and sell products professionally.
Starting with 20 thousand dollars, now Beeketing won first prize in contest startup “Tel Aviv Startup 2015”. Beeketing received 125 thousand USD of investment from 500 Startup funds, 100 thousand USD of investment from the angel investors and IPP funds, Finland.
With 30,000 small-to-medium sized enterprises in Europe and USA paying the fee of US $40 monthly, Beeketing’s revenue in 2015 is estimated at 300 thousand dollars. The goal in the next 3 years of Truong Manh Quan is that Beeketing will serve 500 thousand small and medium sized e-commerce businesses worldwide.
