Thai’s two main activities are “Books and Action” and environment conservation activities. In 2013, Thai founded the non-profit “Running Thru Vietnam / Chạy Xuyên Việt” project to promote and encourage reading culture and action spirit. The project kicked off with the 1,750-km marathon through Vietnam that Thai accomplished in 30 days. The project “Books and Action,” launched in 2014 with the message to create an intellectual generation by reading and having action spirit, who never quit chasing their dreams. So far, 60 clubs have been launched in nearly 20 provinces, cities, providing reading opportunities to approximately 50,000 students and pupils. The project also gives advices and supports for these clubs to have organized more than 300 community activities.
Thai founded the non-profit initiative “Action For Water” (AFW). Under the sponsor of of the Embassy of Israel in Vietnam, AFW has created a big contest across the nation to provide support for teams that have the best solutions to be applied into reality. AFW also hosts a serie of activity such as “Marathon for Water,” as well as participating in the organizing committee of the international conference VACI 2015 with the appearance of many international partners and deputy prime minister Hoang Trung Hai. At the end of 2015, AFW started “Cleaning Ha Noi’s lakes” campaign and “Cleaning” the entire nation’s lakes since 2016.
In 2014, Thai co-founded NVN company, with a focus into wastewater treatment process. NVN has successfully deployed two first wastewater treatment processing projects for two hospitals in Ha Noi.
